What You'll Experience
Our peak pose challenges are meant to be flexible, allowing you to do each class when it suits you and feels right. For example, you can do classes back-to-back on the same day or leave two or three days in between. It's totally up to you. You won't be doing the peak pose until the final class.

Headstand pose (sirsasana) is dangerous if you don't do it safely. In this class series, Crista prepares you carefully, preparing the body gradually for the full pose. However, if you don't feel ready, don't lift your feet until you feel confident that your upper body and core are strong enough to bear your weight, rather than relying on your head and neck.
Pre-Challenge Preparation
Headstand Pose requires a significant amount of strength to move into, hold and move out of with the control that you need. Although these classes will help you achieve the strength over time, you may want to work on your upper body strength before attempting headstand.
