I’ve been using this website since I was about 16(? I’m 19 now so I think about 3 or 4 years) but this is my first time giving a message. It literally inspired me to do baking in my free time, and I’ve enjoyed making different recipes of cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and pies for my large family. In fact, one of my distant cousins is actually hiring me to make 170 cookies for my second aunt’s 70th birthday that’s in two weeks because she loves your oatmeal raisin recipe so so much. I owe a lot to this website for discovering my passion haha, and I’m excited for what’s to come

This is the best sugar cookie I have ever made and I am 80 years old. So easy to make. I got 32 cookies out of it. Medium size.

In reply to Karen Rowen. Hi Karen, you could certainly give it a try with this dough, or what we'd recommend is using the cream cheese dough from these maple walnut tassies. It's just lightly sweetened and holds it's shape well for a filling in the middle. Let us know what you try!

I have followed you in the past and then decided to subscribe. I had a question. Can I use the cream cheese sugar cookie as a cookie cup. I haven’t found a flavorful cookie to add a filling too! Making my daughters wedding desserts so experimenting

In reply to Grace. Hi Grace! How are you measuring your flour? Make sure to spoon and level (instead of scooping) to avoid packing in too much flour into your measuring cups - or use a kitchen scale. You can read more about properly measuring baking ingredients in this post.
