How to Bake a Perfect Cake Email Series
Let’s talk about this. So, one of my goals for Sally’s Baking Addiction is to condense, concise, and update the older content on my blog. This includes adding extra success tips, new photos, video tutorials, and streamlined recipe directions to all of my existing recipes. It’s been quite the project! Included in this goal is to present more helpful information to you, like overall baking tips, baking with yeast tips, cake baking tips, and more.
Today I’m presenting you with a Cake Baking Email Course. This isn’t actually my first email course. I launched a Baking Made Easy email course earlier this year. But now we’re specifically focusing on cakes. This 5 day email series includes:
- never-before-published cake success tips
- in-depth tutorials
- how to freeze cakes guide
- my 2 favorite basic cake recipes
- mix-and-match cake & frosting recipes
What’s The Process?
After signing up, you’ll receive 1 email per day for 5 days. After that, I’ll send you 1 email per week with popular recipes as I update them with recipe notes and easier instructions. If you’re already on my email list, you won’t receive these emails unless you sign up using the form below. This series is in addition to what I regularly send out to you!
This is a completely free email series. All that’s happening is me showing up in your inbox. You don’t need to do anything– no homework– just read, learn, and get excited to apply some of the cake success tips in your own kitchen. You can unsubscribe at any time.
(Honestly there are no gimmicks or sponsorships or anything like that. This is just something FUN and USEFUL I created in addition to the regular recipes you see on my blog.)

Sally,
Thanks for all the great recipes. I used your angel food cake recipe today and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be, so I appreciate it! I started teaching myself how to bake as a kind of therapy for mental illness and baking gives me something to focus on other than what’s in my head, so I’m always reading about new recipes and tips and tricks for next time, so I’ve looked at your site quite a bit in the previous months. Thanks again, and I look forward to trying more!
Looking forward to this email series!
Please do some baking for gluten-free baked goods. King Arthur is the best I can find and the best flour. I used to make my own and then found King Arthur. Please reply as there are many of us.
What a great series this will be. Your cake recipes are absolute, never fails for me! If I am ever needing to make a cake for a special occasion, I just come here and find one that looks good and I know it will be a hit every time. My favorites are the Best Banana Cake Ever (which it is), the yellow sheet cake with chocolate frosting (my co-workers always request this for their birthday) and the Blueberry Bread and Zucchini bread with aren’t really cakes but could be! I baked up the blueberry bread when we were heading to the mountains with some friends for vacation and I wanted to have something already done for breakfast. We ate on it for a couple of days and they absolutely loved it and wanted more! Its wonderful to have a blog site that you can really trust the recipes and don’t have to worry with thoughts of: “I hope this turns out, gee I hope it will be as good as it looks”, because they ALWAYS turn out and they are usually BETTER than I think they will be! You are doing such a great job, Sally! I just wish I could come be one of your assistants– you wouldn’t even have to pay me! (But since my husband wouldn’t be too keen on me moving up north, I don’t think that can happen, but I can dream!)
I really love your recipes. I wish I had known before. Love the apron too. How do you stay so trim with all this baking! Looking forward to new series.
Sally, you look so pretty in your floral apron with your pretty blue eyes! Thanks for all the great recipes and your interesting and easy to follow blog. Hope Jude is better.
SO, SO excited for this! It’s such a great idea and so thoughtful of you! I’ve been obsessed with your cake recipes for so long, and your blog has been so helpful for me as I learned how to bake!
Thank you Sally for taking the time to perfect each recipe and then sharing it with us. Looking forward to your email series. I learnt baking from your blog and you are one of the key people who helps me be a better one.
I’m excited for this! Tonight I finished another batch of cake batter cookies for my niece’s 18th birthday. They are always a hit and I love to change the sprinkles based on the occasion. Thank you for all you do for us!
Thank you for taking the time to share all your baking expertise with us. I’ve never had a recipe of yours fail. Your directions are perfect!
Looking forward to this email series on baking! I’m just sorry my mom passed away before you came on the food scene. She was the Betty Crocker of our neighborhood and she would have loved your blog and recipes!
Thank you Sally, you are so inspiring. I have loved making your recipes. They have all been a success for me. I really appreciate your hard work.
Hi Sally,
I absolutely love your recipes, they are always a success!!! I recently baked your best vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and it got rave reviews!!
Thank you, Sally. I’ve been following you for years and I honestly cannot find a better blogger/website for baking. You have always been so very generous and your recipes never fail me!
Looking forward to more of your tips and recipes. I made the vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with the chocolate buttercream icing for a Senior Luncheon and they were a big hit. Even was ask to make the vanilla cupcakes for someone to take to a party this weekend.
I love your recipes and especially your hints. I feel I have become a better baker because of you. Thank you so much. My family loves the rewards of your recipes. I so appreciate your hard work in creating such successful and easy recipes. I love them all.
Thank you for sharing your knowlegde in baking.
Appreciate your consistent encouragement and guidance to us bakers!
